Travel guide of Pine Dock196 km from Pine Dock
This old Winnipeg bridge has been on my mind since the first time we climbed it as daredevil teens. Coming back to it a few years later to find that it hasn’t changed was a pleasant surprise. This bridge isn’t in service anymore. It has barriers on both sides to keep things from crossing the river. The city is aware of it’s existence and that it is practically useless. Yet here it stays, aging like fine wine collecting and creating stories. Man, if this bridge could talk.
